Watch the video from the Fix It Quick channel, which shows you each step to make this homemade candle:

Procedure:

  1. First, measure four holes and drill them in the cans to install the hinges.
  2. Then, we connected the loops and cans, creating an amazing design.
  3. Next step, take an aluminum can and cut off the bottom.
  4. Next, we take a normal rope and cut a small piece that will be our wick. To ensure that the wick burns for a long time and does not form soot, we soak it in salt water.
  5. While the wick dries, let’s prepare a limiter for it. We continue with the metal block and open it.
  6. Next, we make a hole in the lid of the glass jar to install our wick with limiter.
  7. And here’s the finishing touch! Add normal oil to the jar, place the wick and light our candle.

We now have a stunning jar candle that creates a cozy atmosphere and fills your home with warmth and light!

TIPS:

Selecting Quality Materials: Use good quality tin and aluminum cans to ensure the durability of your homemade candles.

Accurate Measurements: When measuring and drilling holes for hinges, be sure to maintain exact accuracies for a solid, functional construction.

Creative Design: Experiment with the loops and arrangement of the cans to create a visually appealing and unique design.

Precise Cutting: By cutting the bottom of the aluminum can and the rope for the wick, you make clean cuts for a more professional result.

Wick Soaking: Immersing the wick in salt water before using it will contribute to a cleaner, longer-lasting burn.
