Ingredients
- 750 g of cabbage
- 300 g of potatoes
- 50 g of breadcrumbs
- 25 gr of corn starch
- 5 g of salt
- a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
- Just enough chopped fresh parsley
- Just enough pepper
Preparation
- To start, clean your cabbage, then remove the central stem ( which is particularly hard ) and the outer leaves, then wash it properly.
- Done, peel the potatoes and cut them into logs, then transfer them together with the cabbage into a pot of boiling water and cook them.
- As soon as the vegetables are ready, drain them, wait for them to cool down and then using a fork, mash them, obtaining a mixture with a homogeneous consistency.
- Now add the cornstarch, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt and pepper to your “puree”, then mix everything together so that the ingredients blend well with each other.
- At this point you can start making your meatballs, so after rolling them up, crush them lightly with your hands.
- Now line a baking sheet with baking paper, place the meatballs on it and give them a nice brush with extra virgin olive oil.
- Finally put them to cook in a preheated oven at a temperature of 220°C for 25 minutes.
- Once ready, take them out of the oven, then wait for them to cool down before bringing them to the table, because this way you will certainly taste them better.
