Rats and mice will not enter your house if they smell this aroma
How to prepare Natural Repellent for Rats and Mice
To create an effective and natural repellent, you will only need a few simple ingredients that you can easily find in your home.
Necessary materials:
- Lemon peel
- Garlic
- ground coffee
- Nail
- Alcohol vinegar
- Glass jar
- Spray bottle
Preparation:
- Start by chopping the lemon peel and garlic into small pieces. These two ingredients, with their strong odors, are known to effectively repel mice.
- Place the grated lemon peel and garlic pieces in a clean, dry glass jar. This bottle will serve as the base for our natural repellent.
- Add a tablespoon of ground coffee to the jar. The smell of coffee is also unpleasant for mice. Next, add some whole cloves to the jar. Cloves release a specific odor that scares away rodents.
- Lastly, add vinegar to the jar. Vinegar has a strong odor that mice find unpleasant and keeps them away.
- Close the jar tightly and let it rest for 48 hours. Shake the jar occasionally to make sure the ingredients are mixed well and the odors are completely released.
- After the resting time, strain the liquid from the bottle and pour it into a spray bottle. This will be your ready-to-use repellent.
- Spray the liquid around areas where you suspect mice are entering your home, such as door bases, windows, pipe openings, attics, sheds, garages, etc. Mice and rats will avoid these areas due to the repellent’s unpleasant odor.
With these simple steps, you will have created a natural and safe repellent to keep rats and mice at bay in your home. Be sure to apply it regularly and consistently to keep your home free of these unwanted pests. Protect your space and enjoy the peace of mind that a rodent-free home provides!
