Christmas treats with 3 ingredients! Without flour, butter, yeast, eggs and without cooking!
Melt in your mouth, but are unbaked, these truly phenomenal Christmas treats.
All you need are 3 ingredients, a non-stick frying pan, a food processor, silicone or paper molds and very little manual skills, but they’ll make you look great. The only flaw, so to speak, is that you won’t be able to consume them as soon as the preparation is finished, because they have to rest in the refrigerator for two hours, in order to reach the right consistency!
Beautiful and inviting, they release a unique flavor on the palate, rich and full of nuances that blend well with each other: white chocolate, almonds and coconut.
What are you waiting for then? Get to work, we begin!
No-bake Christmas treats: ingredients and preparation
For this recipe, get:
- toasted almonds with peel, 80 g
- grated coconut, 30 g
- white chocolate, 200 g
- caramel sauce (or nutella) to decorate, to taste optional
First, toast the almonds: pour them into a non-stick pan and cook them over high heat for a few minutes, until they brown slightly.
Transfer them to a flat plate, let them cool.
In the same pot, also heat the grated coconut, remove it from the heat when it starts to brown.
Put the almonds in the food processor and chop them coarsely.
Cut the chocolate into chunks, place it in a bowl suitable for a bain-marie and let it melt until you obtain a liquid and full-bodied consistency.
Now add the ground almonds and the coconut rapé, mix well with a spatula until you get a uniform mixture.
Now take some silicone or paper molds and fill them with the just finished preparation, inserting one spoon at a time. Shake the molds to set the contents and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to harden.
Unmold your sweets and place them on a nice Christmas tray. Serve them like this, they are wonderful, but for an extra touch you can stuff them with caramel. Use a sac à poche to be precise and you will bring a small pastry masterpiece to the table!
