Chocolate chip cake: discover my trick
This makeup cake is a show. It has a very soft and very high dough based on healthy and genuine ingredients, studded with chocolate drops. It grows dramatically before and during cooking and turns out to be a true masterpiece. But to be able to obtain a truly spatial rendering you need a glass. Once you have reached the right leavening, you will simply have to press it on the dough, in order to soften it before putting it in the oven. You won’t believe your eyes! The result is truly extraordinary!

Cake with makeup: ingredients and preparation
For this recipe, get:
- 2 eggs
- sugar 45 g
- soft butter 50 g
- latte 100 ml
- 1 pinch of salt
- dry yeast 5 g
- vanilla sugar 5g
- farina 400 g
- chocolate chips 140 g
- nutella, to taste to decorate (about 50 g)
- chopped cherries, to taste to garnish if you like
Grease a 26cm diameter cake tin and keep it handy.
Put the milk and yeast in a bowl, mix with the hand whisk and when all the grains are dissolved, add the eggs. Incorporate them carefully, then add the soft butter, the granulated sugar and the vanilla sugar. Work everything to cream, you have to get a well-bound compound. At this point, in several stages, add the flour and a pinch of salt. Mix everything with the spatula until you reach a firm consistency. Continue to work the dough with your bare hands on a lightly floured surface. Insert the chocolate chips and distribute them evenly. Now place the dough in the pan, spread it to cover the whole base, then with a glass, press lightly, as if leaving lots of moulds, seal with cling film and let it rise for about an hour.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 160° and put the nutella in a pastry bag with a smooth spout.
Take the cake back and draw spirals with the hazelnut cream, starting from the center and reaching the edges.
Put in the oven and cook for about 30 minutes.
Do the toothpick test before taking the cake out of the oven and take it out only if it is dry.
Distribute the chopped cherries if you like and let your cake cool. Unmold it and serve it, it is extraordinarily soft, thanks to the trick of the glass.
