Ingredients :
To make baked apple fritters, you will need:
- 300 grams of type 00 flour
- 80 grams of white table sugar
- 75 ml of milk
- 70 grams of butter
- 50 grams of honey
- 10 grams of baking powder for desserts
- 5 grams of vanillin
- 3 whole eggs
- 2 bodies
- A few tablespoons of jam
- A pinch of fine kitchen salt
- To taste raisins
- Grated coconut to taste.
Making the dough
Break the three eggs into a bowl, add a little fine cooking salt, the white table sugar, the vanillin and beat everything quickly with a hand whisk.
Pour the milk with the honey and mix again. Melt the butter in the microwave and add it together with the other ingredients. Pass the baking powder and flour through the sieve and add them to the dough. Mix thoroughly, until a smooth, homogeneous and lump-free mixture is obtained.
Peel the apples
Take the apples, peel them and cut them into thin slices.
Form the pancakes
With the help of a spoon, transfer all the dough into a pastry bag. Line a baking tray with a piece of baking paper and using the pastry bag, form spirals, which should be left slightly spaced apart.
Arrange the spirals, the apple slices and some raisins on top.
Cooking in the oven
Cook your apple fritters in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 – 20 minutes. The result you will have to obtain must be golden and slightly leavened pancakes.
Finish the composition and serve on the table
Dip a pastry brush into the jam and spread it over the pancakes evenly. Sprinkle the surface with grated coconut. Transfer your apple fritters onto a serving dish and serve them on the table to your kids.
