PECAN PIE – SARAH’S FAVORITE

I love how simple this Pecan Pie recipe is! This is a must-try, I’m telling you! A big thanks to my best friend, Ivy, for this! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Ingredients:
1/2 c butter
1 c of sugar
4 Eggs, beaten
1 c light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 c pecan halves
1 9” unbaked pie crust
Directions:
Ready the oven and preheat to 325 degrees F or 162 degrees C.
Prepare the 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to low.
Add butter, corn syrup, and sugar. Stir and cook for a few minutes until the sugar is dissolved completely.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool.
In a mixing bowl, add vanilla, salt, and eggs. Beat until well mixed.
Transfer the egg mixture into the bowl with the syrup, then stir until well combined.
Arrange the pecans on the bottom of the pie shell.
Add the syrup into the pie shell.
Bake for 50 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool for a few minutes.
Serve with whipped cream. Enjoy!
