How to unclog your kitchen stove to increase capacity and save money

By liliaturcin5

In addition to daily cleaning, the kitchen also requires periodic maintenance work, especially the cooking area. Usually the hob is superficially cleaned , yet food residues also end up inside the hobs and reduce their efficiency.

You will surely have noticed a lower flame than usual , or have difficulty turning on the stove. This problem should not be taken lightly, as it could be downright dangerous.

Below we suggest a trick for unclogging kitchen stoves , cleaning them thoroughly to eliminate all food residues and, consequently, increase their effectiveness .

  1. Remove the burners from the hob.
  2. Take a thin but strong wire, and put electrical tape on one end. This is a security measure.
  3. Insert the tip of the wire with the electrical tape into the hole of the gas outlet source. Be very careful, move as if it were a cotton swab.
  4. Remove the wire.
  5. Finally, put the stove back in place.

This very simple process is important for gas stove maintenance and can be done periodically, at least once or twice a week.

Another tip for keeping gas stoves clean and unblocked is to clean them with vinegar. After removing them, immerse them in a container with vinegar and a little lemon juice. Let them soak for a couple of hours, then remove and rinse them.

Now that you know how to unclog a kitchen stove , immediately apply the advice described above to have a more efficient stove and save on your bill.
