Ingredients

  • 250 ml of water
  • 5 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of Sugar
  • 1 tsp of Salt
  • 350 gr of flour
  • 3 Popes
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt
  • 1 tsp of butter
  • 80 gr of grated cheese

Preparation

  1. To begin, in a pot, heat 250 ml of water over medium heat.
  2. Add 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt to the hot water, and mix well.
  3. Peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces.
  4. Add the potatoes in pieces to the water and mayonnaise mixture.
  5. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Meanwhile, in a preheated skillet, melt 1 teaspoon butter.
  7. Add the cooked potatoes to the pan and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle with 80 grams of grated cheese and cook for a few more minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
