I doubt anyone has seen ANYTHING like this made with HOOK and old packaging
Reusing common materials to create useful objects is a great way to save money and care for the environment.
Here we show you how to make a bracket that screws into the wall, perfect for holding various objects and toothbrushes, using a used shampoo bottle, a disc and ah
This project is simple and only requires a few basic tools.
Necessary materials and tools
- Empty shampoo bottle
- Disc (old CD)
- Hook
- Cutter
- Welding machine or nail
- Scissors
- Lighter
- sandpaper
- Screw and dowel
Procedure
- Clean and dry the shampoo bottle completely.
- Cut the bottle with the cutter so that there is a neat and uniform section. Sand the cut edges to avoid rough edges.
- Heat the nail with a lighter until it is red hot, or use a welding machine.
- Punch a hole in the top of the shampoo bottle with the hot nail or soldering iron. This hole will be used for the screw that will secure the bracket to the wall.
- Cut the disc with scissors, dividing it into 3/4 parts and leaving a quarter of the disc intact.
- Increase the size of the central hole of the disc with the cutter or scissors. The hole should be large enough to fit the top of the shampoo bottle through.
- Make a couple of slots in the disc to hang toothbrushes or other small items.
- Insert the top of the shampoo bottle through the enlarged hole in the disc. Adjust the bottle until it is firm.
- Attach the hook to the bottom of the cut bottle to hang more items. Use the hot nail or soldering iron to make the necessary holes and attach the hook.
- Place the screw through the hole in the bottle and screw it into the wall, using a dowel if necessary to ensure a firm fixation.
Once assembled, use the stand to place various objects on top and hang toothbrushes in the slots on the disc.
