To prepare the recipe, we need:
½ kg of beets
1 large head of garlic
Salt
marjoram
Ground black pepper (or other spices or herbs)
6 spoons of olive oil
3 spoons of balsamic vinegar
Preparation:
Clean the beets and cut them into circles.
Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil – it should also cover the sides of the tray.
Place the beet pieces on the foil.
Add unpeeled garlic cloves, season with salt, spices and herbs.
Finally, sprinkle with the liquid ingredients.
Now comes the most important part of the procedure.
We put another piece of aluminum foil on top of the beets and bend the protruding ends of the aluminum foil on the sides of the tray, thus creating a kind of closed, tight package, inside which the beets are with all the ingredients and the juice does not leak out.
Put in a heated oven and bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for 60-90 minutes (it all depends on the size of the beet).
